Dr. Ray Thompson
Our Keynote Speaker
Executive Director & Vice President of BIMI

Dr. & Mrs. Thompson have devoted more than 53 years to missionary service.  They began their mission work in 1955 in the West Indies under Worldwide Faith Missions of Chattanooga, TN.  For the next 22 years they served on the field in the areas of church planting, Bible camp and broadcast ministries.  Dr. Thompson also helped establish Bluewater Bible College and Institute on the Island of St. Thomas and served as president for sixteen years.

In 1977, Dr. Thompson became the Caribbean director, working out of the world Missions Center, and in 1991 was elected Executive director and Vice President.  Along with his administrative responsibilities, he preaches in Bible colleges, seminaries and church missions conferences in America and foreign countries with the goal of advancing the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.

Joe Lemon
South Korea

Joe came to know the Lord as his Savior in 1995 while serving in the U.S. Air Force at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, and was called to preach in April, 1996.  He was then deployed to Fairbanks, Alaska, where he met his wife, Kristin, who had been saved at the age of 15.

After getting married in 1997, they live for a time in Korea where their daughter Abigail was born in in June, 1998.  Three months later they moved back to Alaska and surrendered to foreign missions while serving in their local church.

Within a few months, Joe had left the Air Force and was attending Fairhaven Baptist College.  Following graduation in 2003, they moved back to Alaska and soon the Lord opened the door for the Lemon family to return to Korea.  He also blessed their family with four more children:  Joseph, Jonathan, Vivian, and Joshua.

They spent almost two years filling in for the pastor at Haven Baptist Church of Kunsan.  During this time the Lord burdened them for the people of South Korea and they are now preparing to return there as a missionary family.

   Jason Muller
Mongolia

Jason and his wife, Becky, were both raised in Christian homes and saved before their teen years. They had, individually, purposed to give themselves to the Lord to do his will.

Immediately after high school graduation, Jason moved west to pursue his dream of working on a cattle ranch and continued there for eight years.  In 1994 God directed him to Fairhaven Baptist College in Indiana where he was called into missions and met Becky.  They were married in 1998 and began deputation for the mission field of Mongolia and have served the Lord in that country for over eight years.

Jason & Becky have five children:  Megan, Holly, Colt, Ashley, and Virginia.

Josep Segurado

Spain

Josep was born into a Christian home in Spain, but was not saved until the age of 17.  After some years of spiritual struggle, he surrendered to the Lord’s direction and came to the States to prepare for mission work among his own people.

Sara was also born into a Christian home in Spain, her parents being national missionaries in the city of Mataro, and was saved at the age of 3.  From an early age, she felt the Lord wanted her to be involved in ministry and surrendered to that call early in her teenage years.

In 2003 Josep and Sara were married and two months later enrolled at Baptist College of Ministry in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, to prepare to serve the Lord better.  In 2006 they were approved as missionaries with Baptist World Mission plan to return to Spain to start a church in Tarragona.

The Segurado’s have three children:  Nehemias, Miqueas, and Ezequias.
